Introduction of the summer team
The management team will be here for you this summer!
The Teaching Hotel is part of the Hotel Management School Maastricht. During the summer period, a group of Hotel Management School students take charge of the hotel. The management team consists of four students. They are happy to introduce themselves to you.
Meet Jan – General Manager of the Summer Team
Hi! My name is Jan, I’m 22 years old and currently in my fourth year at the Hotel Management School Maastricht. This summer, I have the exciting opportunity to step into the role of General Manager of the Teaching Hotel’s summer team.
Hospitality and the hotel industry have always been a true passion of mine, and I’m really looking forward to taking on this new challenge together with my amazing colleagues. Leading the summer team is not only a great chance to grow professionally, but also to contribute to creating unforgettable guest experiences. After this rewarding experience, I’ll be heading into my final internship to complete my studies at HMSM. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Hello everyone, my name is Anthony and currently I am in my second semester of my studies here at HMSM, which I am enjoying a lot. I look forward to work together with my team as Housekeeping manager and to have a great summer together in the THCB.
Meet Nico – Food & Beverage Manager of the Summer Team
Hey everyone! I’m Nico (22), a second-year student at the Hotel Management School here in Maastricht. I’m thrilled to be part of the management team for this year’s summer team, alongside my amazing colleagues Anthony, Vincent, and Jan. I’m incredibly excited about the journey ahead... running this hotel with a team of passionate young professionals who live and breathe hospitality. In the F&B department, I’m looking forward to fine-tuning service, bringing fresh ideas to the table, and making sure every guest leaves with a great taste of what we’re all about. Looking forward to a summer filled with learning, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart. Let’s make it one to remember, cheers!
Meet Vincent – Front Office Team Member of the Summer Team
Hi! My name is Vincent, and I’m a second-year student at the Hotel Management School Maastricht. This summer, I’ll be working at the Front Office as part of the Teaching Hotel’s summer team. After being part of the summer team last year, I’m excited to return for another great experience. I really enjoyed working with the team and welcoming guests, and I’m looking forward to doing it all over again! For me, hospitality is all about making people feel welcome and creating a warm atmosphere from the very first moment. I can’t wait to contribute to that again this summer!
