The Hotel Management School Maastricht (HMSM) is part of Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. HMSM is internationally recognized as one of the leading institutions in the field of higher hotel management.

About HMSM

The hotel school offers a 4-year Bachelor of Arts programme in Dutch and English and the English Master Facility & Real Estate Management. We organize this Master together with the University of Greenwich. The economic Bachelor's degree focuses on future managers and entrepreneurs in the international hospitality industry. The students of the international stream are coming from all over the world. The basic programme comprises 2.5 years. After this period the students follow a graduation profile for another 1.5 years. There are three profiles: Hotel Management, Food Service and Horizons in Hospitality. The programme constantly challenges students to think about how to innovate the industry.

The focus of HMSM is 'The next step in hospitality' with core values 'passion', 'professionalism', 'courage', 'connection' and 'original'. 'Innovative entrepreneurship' is one of the key points of our hotel school. Other key points are ‘connecting gastronomy' and 'developing a global mindset’.

HMSM offers a dynamic workplace in an environment with motivated young adults, who are preparing themselves for a successful career in the hotel industry or a related sector. Our enthusiastic teachers help them to achieve their goals.

We are consistently seeking professionals with an affinity for the hospitality industry and an educational sense, who wish to contribute to the personal and professional education of our students. We offer employees a challenging job, with a lot of flexibility and good secondary terms of employment.
