Introduction of the summer team
The management team will be here for you this summer!
The Teaching Hotel is part of the Hotel Management School Maastricht. During the summer period, a group of Hotel Management School students take charge of the hotel. The management team consists of five students. They are happy to introduce themselves to you.
Dorien Meewis – General Manager
My name is Dorien Meewis, I am 22 years old and currently a fourth-year student at the Hotel Management School Maastricht. I grew up in the beautiful city of Nijkerk, but I am most often found in the southern tip of the Netherlands; namely Maastricht. This summer, I will take on the position of General Manager, a wonderful opportunity that I look forward to with great anticipation. All guests can trust that they will have an unforgettable experience and will lack nothing. We, the summer team and I, look forward to welcoming you from July 11th!
Kevin Van Ommen – Assistent General Manager
Hi, my name is Kevin and I will be taking the role of assistant gm during the summerteam. I am a third year student, originally from a village between Nijmegen and Arnhem, but nowadays I am spending all of my days in the beautiful Maastricht. As a team we will make sure that you experience a wonderful stay and I look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful hotel.
Brandon Hinds & Charlie Mészáros – Housekeeping Manager
We are Brandon from Curaçao and Charlie from the Transylvanian part of Romania. Both of us are 21 years old and in our third year at the Hotel Management School Maastricht. As Housekeeping managers, we will make sure that you return to a comfortable and relaxing room at the Teaching Hotel after enjoying a beautiful summer day in Maastricht. We cannot wait to welcome you all!
Nathalie Gorzawski – F&B manager
I'm Nathalie, originally from a small town in Germany, but I've been loving life in beautiful Maastricht for over two years now. Just got back from doing an internship in Ireland and now I'm back for my third year of studies. This summer, I'll be making sure our guests have an awesome breakfast every morning as the F&B manager. Can't wait to welcome you with the smell of delicious breakfast and hot coffee!
