The management team will be here for you this summer!
The Teaching Hotel is part of the Hotel Management School Maastricht. During the summer period, a group of Hotel Management School students take charge of the hotel. The management team consists of four students. They are happy to introduce themselves to you.
Meet Nico – General Manager of the Summer Team
My name is Nico (23), and I am currently in my third year at our Hotel Management School here in Maastricht. I am truly excited to have the opportunity to lead this year’s Summer Team together with my amazing colleagues Shelsea-Ann, Britt, and Vincent.
I am incredibly enthusiastic about the journey ahead and about welcoming our guests with a team of passionate young professionals who truly live and breathe hospitality. I look forward to welcoming each and every one of you to our beautiful Teaching Hotel, giving you a genuine taste of who we are. With care, dedication, and a whole lot of heart.
Meet Shelsea-Ann – Food and Beverage Manager of the Summer team
My name is Shelsea Ann, and I am proud to take on the role of Food and Beverage Manager within this year’s Summer Team. It is a privilege to work together with my colleagues Nico, Britt, and Vincent as we prepare for a summer full of learning and meaningful experiences.
What drives me most is creating an environment where guests feel genuinely cared for and where our team can perform at its best. I value clear communication, strong teamwork, and a smooth operation that allows everyone to shine. I look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful castle and giving you a true taste of who we are as future hospitality professionals. With attention, dedication, and a positive spirit, we aim to make every moment feel special.
Meet Britt – Housekeeping Manager of the Summer Team
My name is Britt Bronckers, I am 20 years old, and I am excited to take on the role of Housekeeping Manager this summer. Together with Nico, Shelsea-Ann, and Vincent, I am really looking forward to creating a great experience for both our guests and our team.
For me, housekeeping is about much more than just cleaning. It is about creating a fresh, comfortable space where guests can truly relax and feel taken care of. I enjoy working in a team, staying organized, and making sure even the smallest details are just right. I am looking forward to welcoming you and making sure your stay feels easy, comfortable, and well looked after from the moment you arrive. Meet Vincent – Front Office Manager of the Summer Team
My name is Vincent Megens, I am 20 years old, and I am excited to take on the role of Front Office Manager this summer. Together with Nico, Shelsea-Ann and Britt, I am sure we will create a great experience for both our guests and our team, like the summer teams before us have done as well.
For me, the front office is about much more than just check-ins and check-outs. It is the first and last impression of the hotel. The place where hospitality truly begins. I enjoy connecting with people, creating a warm welcome, and making sure every guest feels seen, valued, and well informed throughout their stay. I am looking forward to welcoming and assisting you with anything you may need, and ensuring your experience is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable from even before the moment you arrive, until the moment you leave. Hopefully, we can create a summer full of great memories together.
