Introducing: The Commons, study & coworking area
In the beginning of September, Hotel Management School Maastricht officially opened The Commons, a new study and co-working space in the education building.
From library to community space
Designed by interior designer Judith Muijtjens, the former library has been transformed into a vibrant environment with an expanded digital library and flexible spaces for studying, working, collaborating, and connecting.
The Commons was developed with and for students and staff, whose input helped shape the concept and design. The project was realised with a strong focus on sustainability through the reuse of existing furniture and materials.
With The Commons, HMSM has created a shared space that supports learning, collaboration, and connection across our community. Watch the opening video below.
