Visiting Professorship Ankie Hoefnagels at Penn State University

"It is a great honour to be invited as Conti Visiting Professor. She was also included in the picture gallery, and received an inscripted Nittany Lion - the symbol of Penn State."

Last week, Ankie Hoefnagels was invited as Conti Visiting Professor at Penn State University - School of Hospitality Management

Conti Visiting Professor

Together with powerful industry leaders Robin Hamm and Peggy Berg, under the common theme of ‘Justice, Equity, Diversion and Inclusion', she had the opportunity to engage with students from all undergraduate levels, honours students and grad students. It was also the chance to discuss current and future research projects with inspirational fellow academics and learn more about Penn State’s Hospitality programme, how they coach their students’ career paths and engage with alumni and the industry.  Ankie is currently working, among others, on a COIL project on current HR topics (with Jogien Wilms and Carolien van den Bogert), a study on the impact of a culture and hospitality semester course on global competence development and a comparative study on cultural intelligence and hopeful career state in Europe, the US and Asia (with Tom Kuypers).  The research at Penn State is top notch and we look forward to our joint projects and exchange of young teaching and research talent!

It is a great honour to be invited as Conti Visiting Professor. Ankie was also included in the picture gallery, and she received an inscripted Nittany Lion – the symbol of Penn State University.
