Study books
As you progress further in your studies, the costs of study books will be lower. The costs for Hotel Management School Maastricht study books are approximately:

At the start of the first school year, you have to purchase a Tenue de Ville (school uniform), kitchen uniform and a knife set. Take into account an amount of approximately + € 725.
Campus room
For first-year students at the hotel school in Maastricht there are costs for renting a student room in the Student Residence.
As a first-year student at the hotel school in Maastricht, you will be living in a fully furnished, single room in our Student Residence. If you start in February 2026 or September 2026 the rental costs will be €740 per month. This includes water, electricity, Wi-Fi, the use of communal facilities, and security.
As of January 1 2026, the VAT rate for this type of residential property will increase from 9% to 21%. This change was established by the government and applies to both existing contracts that continue after this date and new contracts that begin in February.
The rentals costs are determined each year based on the consumer price index (CPI), published by the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
