Costs hotel school Maastricht

Following our bachelor study programme requires an investment. On this page, you can read about the exact costs which you have to take into account.

Good to know: the bachelor study programme at the Hotel Management School Maastricht is a government-funded study programme. This means that the costs are considerably lower than those for programmes at well-known private hotel management schools.

In addition to the tuition fees, there are other costs. Like the one-time purchase of a Tenue de Ville (school uniform), kitchen uniform, knife set, the rent of your campus room in the first year and of course the study books.

Tuition fee

You need to pay annual tuition fees. The tuition fees for our study programme are higher than usual. This is because we offer small-scale and intensive education. It improves the quality of the study programme, which is an advantage for you as well. Would you like to know how high your tuition fees are for the hotel school in Maastricht? Tenue de Ville, kitchen uniform and knife set

At the start of the first school year, you have to purchase a Tenue de Ville (school uniform), kitchen uniform and a knife set. Take into account an amount of approximately + € 700.

Campus room

For first-year students at the hotel school in Maastricht there are costs for renting a dorm room on campus. Currently, the rent is € 395 per month.

We started the construction of new student flats in 2019. The first new campus rooms will be ready and available in September 2020. Are you one of the lucky ones to be assigned a new campus room? Although you will have a nice new place, you will also incur a slightly higher rent.

In 2020 the rental costs for a student room will be € 542.75. This sum will be indexed annually in January in accordance with the consumer price index (CPI), as published by the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). The rent includes gas, water, electricity, WiFi, use of communal facilities and security. So it is ‘all-inclusive’.
