What else can you do?

Start your own business

Do you have the ambition to start your own business? With your bachelor’s degree in hotel management, you meet the requirements of commercial knowledge and professional competence for the establishment or takeover of, for example, a catering or liquor company.

Continue studying

Do you have your bachelor's degree in Hotel Management? Don’t stop studying. Follow one of our English-taught Masters;  the Master in Facility and Real Estate Management or the Joint Master Leading Hospitality Innovation

Moving on to a university master's is also an option. Almost all universities offer transfer programmes. In most cases, you first need to follow a one-year pre-master. Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, together with Maastricht University, has developed a special pre-masters minor. You follow this minor during the final phase of the bachelor study programme. If you complete this programme, you will immediately be admitted to one of the following masters:

  • International Business
  • Management of Learning
  • Global Supply Chain Management and Change
  • Business Intelligence and Smart Services

That way you can complete both your bachelor hotel management and your master’s in five years.

The power of networking

Networks, clubs and groups are part of the hotel school. It starts immediately, when you live on campus as freshmen. The Student Association Amphitryon has various disputes and year clubs.

After completing the hotel management study programme, you will be part of the most important network that the hotel school has. The alumni network. The Hotel Management School Maastricht maintains good relations with alumni. You will notice this during your education.

You will see alumni during selection days, guest lectures, internships, company visits and final assessments. Our network is valuable. This is also apparent from the large number of people active on our alumni platform. The place where you, as a graduate, find your old fellow students, share knowledge, look for vacancies or promote your own company.

Can you picture yourself here as well? Then take the next step and sign up for our webinar or read more about our admission and selection.
