Campus life - school & Student Residence
On the campus you will find the educational building, the Student Residence, the student association and the Teaching Hotel in a beautiful park surrounded by nature.
The educational building offers all the facilities you need during your study: a unique gastronomy classroom, private project rooms, an extensive library and sufficient study space.
As a first-year student you will be living in the Student Residence on campus for a whole year. This experience is educational, social and fun. You will learn to live together with others and deal with the challenges of sharing the same living space. This allows you to develop skills and abilities that are required to be successful in the hospitality industry. Here you will make friends for life and start relationships that will last a lifetime too.
Working life – Teaching Hotel & Refresh
During your time at the hotel school in Maastricht, you will gain practical experience in the Teaching Hotel and the student restaurant Refresh. This gives you the opportunity to directly apply your theoretical knowledge. This combination of theory and practice takes your education to a higher level.
One day you are responsible for the housekeeping of the Teaching Hotel. The next day you take care of our guests in restaurant L’Étoile or help with the daily lunch for students and staff.
Social life - Amphitryon & Maastricht
Your time in Maastricht means you get to enjoy your student life in one of the most international student cities of the country. Our student association Amphitryon is located on campus and the city center is only a 15-minute bike ride or a 10-minute bus ride away. You will have easy access to all the amenities, culture and nightlife that Maastricht has to offer!
