Wat zou je nog kunnen doen?
Een eigen bedrijf beginnen
Stroomt er ondernemersbloed door jouw aderen? Dan is het starten van een eigen bedrijf ook een optie. Met jouw diploma hbo bachelor hotelmanagement voldoe je aan de eisen van handelskennis en vakbekwaamheid voor de vestiging of overname van een horeca- of slijtersbedrijf.
Verder studeren
Heb je jouw bachelor diploma Hotel Management op zak? Volg dan een van onze twee Engelstalige Masters; de Master in Facility and Real Estate Management of de Joint Master Leading Hospitality Innovation.
Doorstromen naar een universitaire master is ook een optie. Bijna alle universiteiten bieden doorstoomprogramma’s aan. In de meeste gevallen volg je eerst een eenjarige pre-master. Zuyd Hogeschool heeft samen met de Universiteit Maastricht een speciale doorstoomminor (pre-master) van een half jaar ontwikkeld. Deze volg je tijdens de laatste fase van de bacheloropleiding. Rond je dit programma met succes af, dan word je direct toegelaten tot de een van de volgende masters:
● International Business
● Management of Learning
● Global Supply Chain Management and Change
● Business Intelligence and Smart Services
Zo rond je in vijf jaar zowel je (hbo-)bachelor hotelmanagement als je (wo-)master af.

De kracht van netwerken
Netwerken, clubjes en gezelschappen horen bij de hotelschool. Zo biedt studentenvereniging Amphitryon verschillende disputen en jaarclubs. Na je studie hotelmanagement behoor jij tot het belangrijkste netwerk dat de hotelschool rijk is. Het alumni netwerk. De Hotel Management School Maastricht onderhoudt goede relaties met alumni. Dit merk je al gedurende je opleiding.
Je ziet alumni bij selectiedagen, gastcolleges, stages, bedrijfsbezoeken en eind assesments. Dat ons netwerk waardevol is, blijkt uit het grote aantal dat actief is op het alumni platform. De plek waar je als afgestudeerde je oude studiegenoten terugvindt, kennis deelt, vacatures zoekt of plaatst of je eigen bedrijf promoot.
